MSU Nursing Programs

The Wilson School of Nursing at Midwestern State University offers the following programs:

 

1.       Prelicensure BSN Program—prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to be licensed as a registered nurse.

2.       RN to BSN Program—a program designed for RN’s who have completed a hospital diploma program or an associate degree nursing program, to receive a BSN.

3.       RN to MSN Program—a program designed for RN’s who wish to pursue a Masters Degree in Nursing after receiving a BSN.  Upon admission to the Wilson School of Nursing, the RN will complete the RN to MSN application and register to take the GRE or GMAT.

4.       MSN Program—a program designed for RN’s who hold a BSN and desire to pursue a Masters Degree in Nursing.  Students may specialize in one of the following programs:

·          Family Nurse Practitioner

·          Nurse Educator

·          Nurse Adminstrator
